Harvard Place is a supported housing site for low-income elders. This beautiful building was re-developed and opened it's doors in 1999. The program is a thriving community of elders sharing large, open community spaces where mutual support is emphasized while preserving the much needed privacy of individual one-bedroom apartments and private bathrooms. A full-time staff person works one-on-one with residents to coordinate services such as homemaking, visiting nurses, counseling, medical appointment and others as needed. Additionally activities, classes and events are arranged at regular intervals in an effort to keep residents active and engaged while fostering a sense of community.
