Serves 48 men and women living with HIV/AIDS or families with at least one adult member living with HIV/AIDS. Applicants must be homeless. Applicants taking methadone are eligible for this program. HOAP also serves 12 persons with mental illness. HOAP consists of 48 scattered-site apartments based on the needs of the individual or families in the program. This could include SRO's or multiple-bedroom apartments. 18 units are leased (subsidized through Shelter+Care) to residents. An additional 30 units (subsidized through a different funding source) are leased through private landlords and probably uses a different application.
