The program is located in a medium-rise Boston Housing Authority (BHA) elderly and disabled housing development, designed to serve residents with the greatest need for support services. Residents must be medically stable enough to live in an assisted but non-medical setting. The program is structured to meet the fluctuations in residents' functioning. Amory Street is a clean and sober program. SERVICES OFFERED: Furnished apartments. On-site staff. Substance abuse counseling. Relapse prevention. Mental health counseling. Case management. Free laundry room, accessible by elevator. Assistance with meals, laundry, shopping, and transportation. Medication management. On-site meetings/groups: Mandatory community meetings, relapse prevention group (mandatory for residents with addiction histories), and a general support group.
