Serves eight men and women living with HIV/AIDS or families in which at least one adult member is living with HIV/AIDS. Applicants must be homeless. Applicants must be clean and sober. Applicants taking methadone are eligible for this program. People on the waiting list for this program must call in weekly to check on their status. The program serves a total of 50 homeless adults or families (with eight slots reserved for those living with HIV/AIDS). Those 8, and other residents, may be survivors of domestic violence, in recovery, or coping with serious mental health issues. SERVICES: Housing search assistance. Housing stabilization assistance. Program nurse does evaluations. Case management. Newsletter for residents (including information on community resources, quotes, etc...). Meetings/groups: Budgeting, landlord-tenant issues, trainings.
