Lottery ran from Aug 12 2021 to Oct 11, 2021 At that time there were some internal transfers, some existing applicants, plus there are some priority cases in and outside the lottery pool. Therefore, the ranking order when filling vacancies is: Internal transfers, Pre-Lottery Applicants (sort priority cases at top of this group, by App Date), then Lottery applicants (sort priority cases at top of this group, by LN), then Post_lottery applicants by App Date (sort priority cases at top of this group). Shores Apartments, located in Lynn, MA, is steps away from the city’s finest beaches where residents can enjoy a panoramic view from nearly all of its 202 apartments (elders, 62 + needing support services - also 20 units set aside for non-elderly disabled families). We are a project-based Section 8 community comprised of elderly and handicapped. An applicant must meet certain income guidelines in order to apply for an apartment. Our one bedroom apartments are 612 square feet, and the two bedrooms are 696 square feet, both layouts are spacious and have updated appliances, cabinets and wood floors. Some full and partial handicapped apartments are available. Residents enjoy our large community room with full size kitchen, solarium, business center and on site laundry facility. A gazebo overlooking our own private cove is a great way to relax after shopping or dining in the area. An MBTA station is close by. Occupancy is usually based on two people per bedroom unless the square footage allows or requires otherwise. A husband and wife, or those in a similar living arrangement, shall be required to share a bedroom, unless the consequence of sharing would be a severe adverse impact on his or her mental or physical health and the Agent receives reliable medical documentation as to such impact of sharing.

Mobility Access: 

Elevator. NOTE: The Lists were re-sorted after the lottery, upon review of the Tenant Selection Plan: Disabled (no unit modifications) were pulled from the Handicapped list and moved to the Elder/Disabled list. So some applicants will now have a different ranking based on their LN and Application Date.
