Program Details: 

Townsend is 45 miles west of Boston near N.H. border. Rural area, three miles from Shopping Center. (A "Roadrunner" (van) comes daily for tenants to use for Shopping, Hospital, hairdressing needs, etc.) Medical Offices, Banks, and Retail are very nearby. Tenants pay 30% of income. Allowance included for electric use, but rent includes heat and hot water. Telephone and Cable are paid by tenant. Spacious closets, A.C., Tenant and Guest parking, Community room with kitchen. Site is situated on 6 acres in the woods. Tenants are either 62 or older, OR mobility impaired (any age). Within a half mile of accessible public transportation.

Mobility Access: 

Mobility bedrooms units are larger. Lower cabinets, roll in showers. Emergency Pull cords in each unit. Some roll-in showers.
