9-12 month residential program for families with at least 1 parent in recovery. Must be homeless according to DTA regulations. and must be receiving TAFDC, food stamps, or SSI.
We offer parenting, individual and group therapy, voc/ed, budgeting and self-help groups - attendance is required. There is a computer room for clients. Programs include MS word, Excel, and games for children. There is no Internet connection.
Many bus routes nearby. Arsenal Mall and Watertown Mall are located on one of teh bus routes. Newton Public Library is two blocks away. There is a pharmacy 3 blocks away.
No hills from the bus stop. Wheelchair accessible by elevator at side of building. (There are 10 steps up to the first floor via the front door.) Entrance is ground level. There are no stairs from the parking lot to the pathway entrance.
There is one handicap shower and one handicap bathroom stall, both located on the second floor (via elevator).
