This building just opened in May of 2000. A Stop and Shop van picks residents up for food shopping weekly. A nearby Pharmacy delivers daily. Clinic onsite for Beth Israel Deaconness clients only. Home Health Aides on 24 hour staff, and two there are clinics nearby one run by Mass General and one by Beth Israel. Laundry facilities on every floor. Podiatrist visits regularly.
Small library on site and the nearby Chelsea Library is very rich. Parking lot on the premises.
Public Transportation drops people off at bottom of hill, which is steep and hard for most elders to negotiate. Many units are wheelchair accessible; mostly studios. As of March 2001, the waitlist for Studios is very short.
A 24 hour emergency call system in each room. Units are designed to continually meet the changing needs of the residents.
