A transitional housing program for fourteen men and women with serious and persistent mental illness. Residents The men and women living at the Bowdoin Street Lodge have varying levels of psychiatric disability. Each person requires a different type of assistance, which is addressed through individual treatment plans. This program is located in historic Beacon Hill, in the heart of downtown Boston. and a wealth of local shops, houses of worship and community resources. The program is currently filled to capacity. A waiting list is maintained by the Director of Housing of the Erich Lindeman Mental Health Center. Vacancies occur two to three times a year, generally in response to residents moving into more independent housing.
