Serves 13 men and women living with HIV/AIDS, who are eligible to live in Boston Housing Authority (BHA) housing. Residents should be medically stable enough to live in a non-medical yet strongly supported community setting. Residents should require and desire supports available on a 24 hour basis to continue living independently. Applicants should be homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. If applicants have a history of addiction, they should have 6 months of clean time. Applicants taking methadone are eligible for this program.
Fully furnished apartments (including kitchenwares and linens)
On-site awake staff 24 hours a day
Substance abuse and relapse prevention counseling
Case management
Assistance with shopping (three van trips per week to a grocery and pharmacy)
Assistance arranging transporation to medical appointments
Three community meals a month
Monitor narcotics & psychiatric medications
On-site meetings/groups: Mandatory monthly community meeting
