The W.I.S.H. Program opened its doors to the first client on January 15, 2003. The Program is designed to provide services to residents with severe and persistent symptoms of mental illness who have extreme difficulty adjusting to community living. The Program serves 10 clients living in the community, either individually, or with a roommate. The Intensive Supported Housing model fully embraces the ?team? concept where clients are not assigned a primary case coordinator, rather they maintain contact with the entire team. This model is designed to increase the quality of treatment contact, since every team member will be familiar with the treatment objectives for each client.
