Since 1991, when the first CHAMP House opened its door, CHAMP Homes has grown to be a community of six residences near the Main Street of downtown Hyannis.
More than 2300 people have enjoyed CHAMP Homes as their home and family. Our residents are Cape Cod students, veterans and people from all walks of life. The community has become an oasis where love, respect and support help each member of the CHAMP Homes family move away from the difficulties that led to their homelessness and instead toward his or her full potential. Under Paul and Carolyn’s leadership CHAMP House grew to CHAMP Homes with six houses, and an efficiency cottage located in Hyannis. The Alice O’Neill House, the Jamie Ready House, Lyndon Lorusso House and Bayside Cottage are all located at our School Street campus. Pilot House is located at 120 Yarmouth Road. And Pilot House II and the “Tugboat” cottage are at 27 Parkway Place. Each home provides supportive housing (some transitional, and some longer term) for individuals who otherwise would be homeless
