Program Details: 

The Main South Community Development Corporation is now accepting applications for affordable rental apartments at 92 Grand Street, Worcester, MA. There are 6 newly constructed buildings that will be completed in different phases. We expect the first phase to be ready for occupancy in August 2022. The development consists of 48 units of which 46 are affordable. The housing comprises 12 one-bedroom, 7 two-bedroom units, and 29 three-bedroom units. There are 3 wheelchair-accessible units and three adaptable units. To be eligible for the affordable units, households must earn no more than 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) as determined by HUD. Twelve (12) of the units have Project-Based Rental Certificates attached and these units will be rented to individuals or households whose incomes are less than 30% and 50% of AMI. Affordable units will be rented through a lottery application process.
