About the apartments: There are 14 garden style apartments on a 2-acre property, studios and 1 BRs. To qualify for our complex, an individual needs to be over the age of 62 or disabled any age.
When we consider income limits, we count the income plus the interest from assets, minus your medical deductions, which means that many are qualified even if their income appears over the limit.
You use an electronic card system to get on campus, and a regular key to get into your apartment. There is 24 hour on call maintenance service. The Laundromats are in a separate building on the campus.
Amenities: In the immediate area are a Walgreens, a Stop and Shop, a Wal-mart, a Shopper's World, a new CVS, several fast-food restaurants, and a liquor stove. There is a college very nearby.
Lift Bus that picks up on the hour right outside. Curb cuts. Automatic door openers in four units. Two units have roll-in showers. All handicap units have no cabinets under sinks, everything wheelchair level except the stovetop. You do have to climb into the tub or use an assistive device. The Laudromats are in a separate building on the campus. Gazebo area. Community Room and a Tenant's Association. Coffee hours. This is an independent living facility. Services can come in to help some residents from the community.
