Winn - 1599 Columbus Ave

1599 Columbus is a major milestone in the ongoing revitalization of Jackson Square. The development of new affordable housing will support the community of Jackson Square and bring economic opportunities to the area. The building will include approximately 3,200 SF of non-residential space along Columbus Avenue and bicycle storage, laundry facilities, and a community room for residents. 1599 Columbus will utilize a high efficiency heating system and building envelop with Energy Star-rated appliances and rooftop solar PC array. The development will meet the U.S. Green Building Council LEED Homes Platinum certifiable standard and is pursuing PHIUS Passive House CORE Certification.
