Latham School is licensed by the Massachusetts Office of Child Care Services and the Mass Dept of Education, and has relationships with DMR, Dept of Youth Services, and DSS.
The young people leaving the Latham School at 22 years of age move into adult supported living in the community. Skills are taught, such as manageing a successful household, or a relationship, and being a good employee. SAIL has two homes for graduates of its Latham School. In our "Shared Living Program", our adults are fostered in nurturing environments by individuals or families who open up their homes and hearts to them. In our "Independent Living Program", our residents reside in their own homes while receiving supports in life management areas uniquely challenging to them.
